Off-grid photovoltaic systems

A solution when there is no reliable grid connection or the goal is maximum independence.

Off-grid photovoltaic system
what it is

What is an off-grid system?

An off-grid photovoltaic system generates and stores energy for the site without relying on the distribution grid. It suits properties with no connection or unreliable supply — and when the goal is maximum independence.

Because there is no grid to fall back on, storage is part of the solution. Not every site is suitable for full autonomy — we assess that on the visit.

Who this system is for

An off-grid system is sized to real consumption and storage options. It suits sites without a grid or with unstable supply. The configuration is confirmed after a site visit — not every property is suitable for full autonomy.

  • Sites without access to the distribution grid
  • Holiday and remote properties
  • Clients aiming for greater energy independence
  • Sites where the grid is unreliable

What usually goes into the system

The configuration follows consumption and the mounting location. The project usually includes:

  • JinkoSolar panels and a roof or ground structure
  • A Deye inverter to power standard appliances
  • A Deye battery system for hours without sun
  • Cabling, protection, design, supply and installation

Extra equipment is discussed only if the site requires it — no universal kit for every property.

Why the battery is part of the system here

A grid-tied installation can use the grid at night. An off-grid system has no such reserve — so part of the generated energy is stored and used when there is no sun.

We use Deye battery systems. Capacity is chosen from the real load and how the site operates, not a catalogue template.

Work process

How the work proceeds

01

Consultation

A site visit covering the property, consumption and your goals.

02

Design

A configuration matched to the roof, the load and the budget of the solution.

03

Supply

We prepare the panels, inverter and remaining equipment.

04

Build

Installation and preparing the system for normal operation.

Roof or ground. How many panels are needed.

On an off-grid site, area and orientation matter even more because there is no grid to fall back on. A roof works when it is clear and well oriented. Ground-mount is considered when the roof is shaded or small — if the plot has a suitable place.

The system is sized to real consumption and storage, not an “average home”. Standard appliances are powered through an inverter when the system is designed that way. Not every property is suitable for full autonomy.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is an off-grid system suitable for every site?

No. It suits a missing grid or when independence is the priority. We assess whether it is realistic for your property after a site visit — not every site is suitable for full autonomy.

How is the system sized?

According to real consumption and storage options. The configuration is confirmed after a site visit, without ready-made templates.

Is a battery required?

On an off-grid system storage is part of the solution because there is no grid to fall back on. The exact composition is chosen for the site. We use Deye battery systems when they are suitable.

How much does an off-grid system cost?

The price depends on consumption and equipment. We quote after an enquiry and a site visit.
